Introduction to Windsurfing for Two in Gwynedd (Half Day)

Other Experience Days Windsurfing is enjoying a new rise in popularity, as it's one of the most exciting, vibrant and challenging sports around today. It's fast, dynamic, fun, exhilarating and above all, it's cool!Under professional guidance, you'll both be shown the techniques that are key to this exhilarating blend of skill, power and grace. Feel the wind on your faces and the water beneath you as both of you cruise across the surface of this North Wales lake. Location: Gwynedd (Wales)
Day Information: Arrive at the venue at 9:30AM for a briefing on safety, equipment and technique basics. You will receive all the tuition and all the equipment required to undertake the course, so get kitted up with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and a board, and head down to the lake to place your feet on the board and your hands on the boom. While finding your balance, you'll also both cover the basics of sailing across the wind and turning (tacking) around in this introductory course. The time will fly by as you progress toward the course end at 12:30PM.Your voucher is valid for ten months for two people, and you are free to contact the operator to arrange your experience, using the details provided (please note that bookings are non-transferable.) Please provide appropriate footwear, (ie old trainers). Minimum age is 8. There are no weight or height restrictions. You may cancel the booking at any time up to 8 weeks prior to the course start date by giving written notice to the supplier. All courses are weather dependent and subject to availability. The experience is undertaken entirely at your own risk. Please notify the supplier at the time of booking the course of any medical condition that may be relevant.

Then it's down to the water's edge to run through everything you've learned on the shore, before taking to the water to see who can stand up for real first! Other Experience Days Ever wondered how players such as Pele and Ronaldo became so good at football? The reason is that they started by playing Futebol de Salão. This is a 5-a-side version of football of South American origin that is played with a smaller, heavier ball that has virtually no bounce. The game became very popular in Brazil where some of the greatest players were brought up first playing Futebol de Salão before moving on to conventional football. So why not follow in their football boots and join in the latest football craze to hit the UK? Location: More than 600 Brazilian Soccer Schools in the UK
Day Information: On arrival at the venue, meet your coach who will talk you through the basics of what you are going to achieve. Then join the other team members to perform some warm up exercises before watching and learning a series of Futebol de Salão moves and trying them out for yourself. The session ends with some warm down exercises. At the end of the first lesson you will have the option to sign up for a course of lessons.Your voucher is valid for ten months. You are free to book your lesson at a time of your convenience using the information provided. Suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 16. This voucher cannot be used by existing members of the Brazilian Soccer Schools. Only one voucher may be used per person, not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Don't worry if you have never tried this before, the coaches are on hand to make sure you feel comfortable. On the day you should bring along football boots, trainers and shin pads. After your trial lesson you may choose to become a member of the soccer school, however you are under no obligation to do so.

This experience is suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 16. Don't worry if you have never tried this before, the coaches are on hand to make sure you get the most out of your training.
