Whether you choose kitesurfing, landboarding or kitebuggying, you will receive expert instruction and will get a taste of what these sports require. Either way, you are guaranteed to have a fantastic time and will leave with a passion for these challenging sports and a desire to perfect your skills. Day Information: Sessions begin in the morning (start time depends on the tides) and last for approximately six hours. All courses begin by learning basic kite skills, after which the equipment will be explained to you. You will be taught by qualified instructors, and may choose one of the following kite sport disciplines: Kitebuggying – You will use your kite to pull this three wheeled vehicle across the sand. But be warned – no brakes! Kitesurfing – Using an inflatable kite your day will be spent body surfing in the water and even trying out standing on the board at the end of the day. Landboarding – Speed along the beach or field on a mountainboard (like a skateboard but with all terrain tyres), propelled by your kite.Your voucher is valid for 10 months. No experience is necessary, but you should be reasonably fit. The minimum age is 13 years, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must notify the centre of their age and chosen activity on booking. This experience is available on selected dates. The maximum group size is four for the kitesurfing and six for the kitebuggying and landboarding. Land courses require long trousers and trainers, and water courses require swimwear and a towel (warm clothing is recommended). Spectators are welcome, but there may be restricted viewing of the activities. If weather conditions are unsuitable and the session is cancelled, you will be offered an alternative experience or the opportunity to rebook on another date.

Other Experience Days Everything you were told never to do as a child by the sea. This is not simply swimming in the sea, climbing on the rocks or cliff jumping. This is a novel mix of exploration, adventure and adrenaline at the level you want it to be – from nervous newbie to extreme exhilaration! Coasteering gives a very different perspective on the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and is run by Britain’s leading centre of excellence for the sport. Location: North Pembrokeshire (Wales)
Day Information: Adventure sessions begin at 9am or 1.30pm and last approximately 3½ hours including travel time. After an introductory briefing you will change into a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and other safety equipment before taking a short minibus ride to the activity venue. You will need to bring trainers, swim-wear, tracksuit bottoms/ long shorts (to wear over your wetsuit), a towel and warm clothing. During the session you will be led by an experienced Coasteer guide to scramble, climb, swim and jump along the fantastic Pembrokeshire coastline. Other activities available.Your voucher is valid for 10 months. No experience is necessary. The minimum age is eight years, and participants will be grouped with others of a similar age and ability, unless otherwise requested. The maximum group size is ten participants, unless by prior arrangement. Spectators are welcome to visit although there is restricted viewing of the activities. If the weather conditions are unsuitable and the session is cancelled you will be offered an alternative experience, or the opportunity to rebook for another date. Day Information: Adventure sessions begin at various times and last between 2-3½ hours including travel time*. After an introductory briefing you will change into a wetsuit and hit the surf under the watchful eye of your instructors. You will need to provide trainers, swim-wear, a towel and warm clothing. During the session you will be taught by a qualified surf coach and will learn to catch & ride the waves on a beautiful, clean beach. *At one of the Pembrokeshires location you will need to take a short minibus ride to the local surf beach (cost included)Your voucher is valid for 10 months.. No experience is necessary. The minimum age is eight years, and participants will be grouped with others of a similar age and ability, unless otherwise requested. Day Information: Meet on day one at 9:30AM to begin your two-day course. Each day will start with a 20-minute lesson on safety, techniques, skills and water knowledge; before hitting the waves for two hours. Your expert instructors will guide you at every step before you break for lunch at 12:30. Then it's back to the beach for another run-through on the sand and then into the surf again! At 4:30PM you'll return to base camp to get out of your wetsuit, with a certificate presented to you at the end of day two.Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person. Included in this package is two days' expert surf tuition by O'Neill's qualified instructors, use of a wetsuit and surfboard and a certificate of completion. Please bring a towel, warm clothing, trainers, a packed lunch for each day or lunch money, sunscreen and any necessary medication. Accommodation is not included in this package. This experience is subject to change, availability and weather conditions at the discretion of the supplier. Lessons cancelled due to poor weather will be rescheduled. The supplier reserves the right to refuse anyone intoxicated or not in a fit state to participate. Refunds will not be issued in these cases, nor in the case of late or non-arrivals.
